Zum Murnauer is a wonderfully beautiful location for dining and for celebrations and conferences in Bavaria. Situated on Murnau’s hill, with a view of the Alps and its wonderfully panoramic rooms, the Zum Murnauer restaurant is the perfect setting for every occasion.

Our restaurant
You will find your favourite spot everywhere – in the restaurant, in our covered and heated outdoor seating area or in our chestnut beer garden with barbecue hut. We are much more than a normal restaurant.
A light-flooded room for wonderful, sociable hours – that’s our Bavarian restaurant in lovely Murnau am Staffelsee. Meet up here between Tuesdays and Sundays and look forward to the delicacies offered by the kitchen. A cool Augustiner, Radler or Riesling – the choice is up to you. For our small guests there is a children’s play area with TV and, of course, an outdoor play area.

In the Zum Murnauer restaurant: aperitif on our wonderful sun terrace, a coffee in the beer garden with a view of our mountain panorama, a set menu or buffet in our stylish function room (230 m2) and party in the old cellar vault 14 metres below Zum Murnauer – party with us in any way you like!
